The SHIELD-BX is handcrafted from a thick cotton canvas that weighs 16 ounces. The surface has been given a natural protectant in the form of beeswax treatment, and it has also been adequately maintained and re-waxed.
Over several years, the SHIELD-BX will continue to be hardy and water-resistant. There is a choice of several materials to be made into this bag. The SHIELD Saddlebags feature a timelessly stylish, "vintage" design, high-quality materials, and an adaptable carrying system. It is the ideal combination of attractiveness and usefulness.
The vintage style is supported by a variety of durable full-grain leather and thick cotton canvas material, which provides the necessary tensile strength for day-to-day wear and tear on the road. The bag holder is assembled from full-grain leather and aluminum panels, and can be mounted on our custom frames. Adjustable leather straps allow for easy loading and unloading of bags, or other items as your imagination dictates.
Custom frames need to be purchased separately, and the heavy ones are thicker than the light ones.
